Your yearbook scans are exclusively for your school’s utilization. Unlike some of our competitors, we never resell or use the files in any other way.
What does the non-destructive book scanning process entail?
You package your school’s yearbook collection and ship them to our facility which is New York-based.We scan your books page-by-page using overhead camera equipment, via a process that is gentle for even old and fragile volumes.
We process the images to top-quality, high-resolution output in your preference of PDF format, JPEGs or TIFFs.
All PDF formats are fully searchable via our unique image processing run by premium Optical Character Recognition software.
These files can also be used to create online flip books, click here to view samples. We can complete this step for you as well and share a beautiful bookcase to embed on your site, for $15 per book.
All final files are emailed to you for review via Dropbox.
Once your satisfaction is confirmed, we return your yearbooks intact and in perfect condition. We then delete them from our server and they are in your exclusive domain.
How do I submit a sample order request? (Schools only, please).
We offer a sample order option so you can test our service, free, for one yearbook. Please complete the online form and print the confirmation to be included with your book shipment. We will email you the files of the sample scan for approval. Once completed, we’ll package and ship the book back to you at our expense.
What is your price for this service for schools? Are there any surcharges?
For schools, we charge low rate of $34.00 per complete book – guaranteed lowest price in the US! We keep our pricing simple so we don’t require a time-consuming and tedious task of obtaining a page count of each book. However, surcharges for oversized yearbooks will apply as follows: Up to 150 pages: $34 flat rate; 151-250 pages: +$10; 251+ pages: +$20
Which shipping method is recommended?
The USPS offers discounted “Media Mail” rates which are ideal for shipping books affordably. However, UPS or Fedex may provide more security.
Do you offer pick-up service?
We are located in southern New York. If you are located in NY, NJ, CT, or eastern PA, contact us to inquire if we’d be willing to pick them up.
What additional services do you offer for reunion committees?
Perfect for reunion-badges, slideshow assembly, or personalized alumni promotional gifts, we offer a service to turn those spreads of senior photos into individually labeled JPEG files.
Each senior photo will be neatly cropped out of the main page and correctly titled with the student’s name, and optionally, year graduated.
Our photo cropping rates are $0.45 to $0.65 per photo, depending on the size of the project. This service is an addition to our standard yearbook scanning rate.
