In 2008, Mark Honig, an avid book collector, philologist and historian, began experiencing the transitional world of digitization and its profound benefits. It all began when he decided to invest in a non-destructive book scanner for personal use, thereby greatly aiding his research by aiding accessibility and searchability. His goal was to digitize his entire large, unique collection of books and archival material, and still preserve the valuable original copies.
In 2010, due to increased interest from his academic colleagues, he founded Bound Book Scanning and began offering low-cost but high-quality book digitization services. In time, Bound Book Scanning decided to diversify to include a special track solely dedicated towards scanning archival yearbooks for schools.
Since then, Yearbook Scanning’s professional state-of-the-art New York-based facility has performed digitization and conversion services for schools and universities throughout the U.S. and the rest of world. We are experts in the field, having digitized many thousands of yearbooks over the last few years.
We take pride in being able to provide fast, easy, and affordable yearbook digitization services for our clients.
